Since our ground is still hard and rocky in the Ozarks, we are using the Ruth Stout mulch method for potatoes this year… this will actually help improve our soil as we grow food!
And we are thrilled with the success of our first potato harvest! We are planting some of the potatoes right back in the ground to see if we can get a second harvest before our first freeze this fall. Fingers crossed!
